BreastScreen NSW is a free health service for women from diverse cultures and language groups. We make it easy and comfortable for you to have regular breast screens.
Why it’s important
We provide interpreters to help with bookings.
Call the Translating and Interpreting Service (TIS) on 13 14 50 and ask for BreastScreen NSW.
An interpreter can also come to your appointment, but they must be certified to interpret health information.
If you would like to come with other women and support each other at your breast screen, we can organise a group booking.
Call us on 13 20 50.
We can visit community groups and cultural festivals to talk about why having a breast screen is important.
