Regina was a busy working mum when her husband encouraged her to have the breast screen that saved her life.
Regina was diagnosed with breast cancer in August 2014, just two months after her 50th birthday.
As a busy woman juggling a full-time job, two teenage children, a husband, a dog, and a home, Regina booked in for a mammogram after some nagging from her husband. Regina couldn’t feel her breast cancer through breast self-examination, so a mammogram is the only way her cancer could have been detected.
Now Regina thanks BreastScreen NSW for ‘saving her life’.
