BreastScreen NSW offers professional development and career opportunities for health professionals who provide breast screen services. It’s how we keep breast screen clinics up to date and foster a high-quality breast cancer workforce.  

 

Breast Imaging Clinical Education Program (BICEP) 

BICEP is a continuing professional development initiative for diagnostic radiographers performing breast imaging at BreastScreen NSW Screening and Assessment Services.  

BreastScreen NSW developed the program in collaboration with the University of Newcastle and the University of Sydney.  

BICEP has been accredited by the Australian Society of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy (ASMIRT).

Cancer Institute NSW Breast Imaging Advanced Trainee Grants Program 

This program supports senior registrars in the final year of training or newly qualified radiologists to undertake further training and research in breast imaging.  

It is a key workforce strategy of the Cancer Institute NSW.
